Lots of weddings this year...

Nicole and Matt Faldyn were married Saturday, October 18th in Katy, Texas. We were friends from college and graduated together with the same degree. Kurt and Matt are friends as well, and we had a great time at the wedding! We're getting to see lots of our college friends this year, because so many of them are getting married...I guess it's just that time in everyone's lives. Their reception was at the Willow Fork Country Club...where we danced the night away. I must admit, it was a bit weird not being able to participate in the boquet toss at the wedding. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Faldyn!!! Nicole and Corrie

House Pictures

These are the pictures of the house we found in Westheimer Lakes! We just love it, and are awaiting more news. We should know more by this week, and if all goes well, we'll be moved in before Thanksgiving. I didn't post all of the pictures, but these are just some. It's a new home, and the furniture you see in the pictures is just moved in to help sell the house to prospective buyers. It is 1 1/2 stories with a loft in the back over the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a nice backyard for Cash...which by the way, he will be coming home November 14th! We can't wait to get more news and we promise to keep you all posted!!! Busy Weekend...

We were non-stop this weekend, but we had so much fun. On Friday, we left for College Station to stay with some good friends, Kim and Charles. We went out Friday night and had so much fun at the Dixie Chicken in College Station. We attended a wedding on Saturday in New Braunfels of a friend that I used to work with at WIC. On Sunday morning, we went to the Bonfire Memorial, which after living in College Station for 5 years, neither of us had ever been to. It was really incredible! Last but certainly not least, on Sunday was Dusty's birthday, and he decided to celebrate by going skydiving! Dusty, Leslie, and his Mom went for the thrill of their lives and we were all there watching below. So much fun!

Let's Get Started...

We've just decided to start a blog, and we're very excited to keep our friends and family updated on our lives! We'll get started with the wedding of the century!!! We got married on June 21, 2008 and it was the most perfect day we could have asked for. We still wish we could do it all over again, because it went by so quickly. Our friends and family gave us the best gift...memories that we will cherish for a lifetime! We couldn't have asked for anything more. After our amazing honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, we settled back in Houston and went back to work.

Kurt is working at The Elite Corporation as a Project Manager and he absolutely loves it! I have been working at St. Vincent de Paul as a Pre-K teacher, and it has been amazing so far. Of course there are some days that are better than others, but that goes without saying.

Most recently we have been looking at homes!!! We found a home and fell in love with it, so we will keep you all posted on what happens. We're missing our dog Cash right now, as he is still in East Texas being trained for hunting purposes. Hopefully when he returns in November he'll have a back yard to come home to. Stay tuned for updates on our lives, as we plan to keep our blog in tune with everything!
