On Sunday Kurt and Dusty decided that they wanted to make a day of it on the golf course. Since it was a beautiful day, Leslie and I decided that we would tag along just for the fun of it. We showed up to the golf course, and Kurt and Dusty were almost wearing the exact same outfit...right down to their white golf gloves. We also decided to bring along some additional items...I mean who doesn't always carry around an extra mustache and a grump on a stick? Kelli sent us these items and demanded that we take good pictures, so here are some of the first ones. The brown mustache actually fit Kurt - in an awful mustache way! Dusty tried on the black one for size, and Leslie and I were laughing hysterically. We ate together afterwards and Kurt walked into the restaurant with the brown mustache on. The hostess at the front was trying so hard not to laugh. I had to stand in the back, because I couldn't hold it in. It was a fun Sunday! Lots of Hard Work
This past weekend, Kurt and I decided we would tackle the yard...literally. When we moved into the house, there were some shrubs planted in the front, but due to our lack of TLC for our poor plants, most of them didn't make it through the winter - even here in Texas where it doesn't get that cold. Also, before Cash's kennel was built and we tested him in the backyard, he decided to move around a few of the plants in the backyard on his own. Anyway, we pulled up most of the plants a month or so ago, and finally got around to fixing the yard and re-planting. We got up early on Saturday morning and went to a nursery close to our house. Thanks to some help from people there, we made a decision on what to get. Everything is pretty small right now, but hopefully when it gets bigger, our "homemade" landscaping job will have been well worth it. It literally took us all day long! Luckily the weather was beautiful. We worked so hard in the yard all day, but afterwards it felt like we really accomplished something when we were able to see it all put together. Cash inspected and approved our plants after they were in the ground. Luckily he didn't try any of his own landscaping techniques.

Mike & Erin's Wedding
After the birthday celebrating ended on Friday night, we got up on Saturday and drove to Austin with Kyle and Daphanie for Mike and Erin's wedding. The wedding and reception were in North Austin at a beautiful country club on rolling hills that overlooked the city. It was lots of fun, and we enjoyed ourselves at yet another wedding...although it has been the first one this year. Mike worked with Kurt at Cheddar's restaurant, so it was a Cheddar's reunion for many of the guys there. They had fun getting to catch up. It was a great time and we were hoping for an extra day in the weekend when we returned home on Sunday. Kurt and Erin (the bride) during the money dance.

Happy 25th Corrie
I can't believe 25 years of my life have already flown by! We celebrated my 25th in style for sure. We went out for dinner at Cyclone Anaya's in Midtown and enjoyed the margaritas and great mexican food. There were 16 of our friends that joined us on Friday to celebrate my birthday. After leaving the restaurant, some people went home, and some of us decided to continue the celebration...Kurt and I included! We went to the Front Porch Pub and then Pub Fiction for some dancing later in the night. I was so happy to see everyone on Friday for dinner. What a fabulous way to spend my 25th birthday!
