I thought I'd give you all a few of our latest updates. Although there are lots of finishing touches we plan to add, we finished painting the dining room chairs and finally moved our media furniture in the house on Superbowl Sunday! Once all of the chairs were at the table together, it really did make a difference. After we get window treatments and a rug, along with the finished hutch and a few things on the wall, our living room will be complete.
Last Saturday we sanded down the media furniture (yes, every single piece) and then removed our old drop cloths from the garage and replaced them with a new one before we painted our last top coat of sealer onto the wood. I was trying to shake off a cold over the weekend, and I'm sure that sanding and painting was just what I needed. We were so excited to move it out of the garage though! By Sunday morning everything was dry and ready to move in. Our living room looks completely different than it did just a few weeks ago. This weekend we're going to gather everything we need to start the hutch. I'll post before and after pictures soon.
