Over the 4th of July holiday, Kurt and I met my family at Crystal Beach. We were able to get away on Thursday afternoon and spent 4 nights just relaxing and enjoying each other. We all had a blast on the mini-vacation trip. It brought back lots of memories! We grew up on this beach every summer. Although the water isn't blue and the sand isn't white, it still feels the same between your toes! It was great to get away for a long weekend.
Our days were spent on the beach. The men set up a tent, which was a lifesaver for getting out of the hot sun, and we cooked lunch on the beach everyday. Hayden usually decided when we would head back to the cabin for showers and dinner. He was so much fun to watch on the beach. I'm not sure who is more fascinated with fishing - Hayden or Kurt. Kurt reeled in 2 small black tip sharks one day. This was the 2nd one he caught...and yes, we still got back in the water afterwards!
